- The winter is here! It is 9 below zero and there is snow! A lot! Mea 2 yrs of age was skiing today singing at the same time a song about a jumping rabbit. Funny!

- You all are so welcome to Lahti to the World Design Capital with Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen. I´ll show you around here in my hometown! First we´ll make a walk in the beautiful scenery around the little lake along the shore of the big lake covered by snow, we´ll walk to the Sibelius Hall and back and then have a cup of coffee in the center looking at the market square with a long fur tree with lamps..

- I visited yeaterday my friend Jaana whom I have known since she was 5 years old, living 250 km from here at Virrat in the middle of nature, hills, forests and fields, in a former school house running a jewelry business, selling materials for bracelets, ear rings, necklaces etc. Helmientalo is the name of the place.Travelling around the world and Finland, enjoying the life with a lovely rag cat Pörri. Beautiful, special interesting. You should visit Helmientalo.

Tue Maisha Meman toimintaa - Support MM Foundation

Tule mukaan Maisha Mema -perheeseen auttamaan Isiolon alueen lapsia. Autamme lapsia pääsemään kouluun,tyttöjä, ja kahta poikaa lukemaan ja aikanaan auttamaan niin kuin Lucy, auttaa tänään oltuaan 20 vuotta sitten kummilapseni, sosiaalityöntekijä Isiolossa työnään kadulla elävien äitien auttamisen jälkeen PRECIOUS-koulun johtaja. Tule mukaan!

- Ruohonjuuritason avustusjärjestö itäisen Kenian Isiolon alueen lasten ja naisten auttamiseksi.

- Maisha Mema lainaa naisille n 15-20 euron suuruisen alkupääoman  ilman korkoa ja auttaa heitä yrittäjyyteen, hankkimaan työkaluja, vuohia, vihanneksia jne. perheen elättämiseksi.

- Maisha Mema on auttanut 5 äitiä elättämään koko perheen.- Maisha Memalla on 8 kummilasta joiden kummivanhemmat huolehtivat heidän koulunkäyntimahdollisuudestaan. Yksi lapsista suoritti marraskuussa koulun valtakunnalliset päättökokeet ja saa todistuksen tammikuun lopussa.

 

- Yksi hiv--positiivinen tyttö saa sponsorimme avulla estolääkityksen (6 e/kk), tauti ei ole edennyt ja tyttö voi hyvin.

 

- Maisha Mema on perheenomainen ystäväpiiri joka kuukausittain lahjoittaa 10- 20 euroa Maisha Meman toiminnan tukemiseksi.

- Isiolossa 5 hengen talkooryhmä valitsee avustuskohteet ja päättää avustustarpeesta ja organisoi avustuksen seuraten sen toimivuutta.

- Tarkka raportointi toiminnasta, suunnitelmista ja niiden toteutumisesta.

Come and join us The Maisha Mema Family, Now a Circle of ten persons!

We support  6 girls and 2 boys and their families in isiolo, Kenya. my godchild (20 years ago), Lucy, a social worker, today headmistress of the school named PRECIOUS, organizes the the help with four other active ladies, it is the mm-team. on the basis of  the poors´ bank- ideology we help five mothers who got a small sum of money to run a business of their own by bying a goat, or selling vegetables etc. and they now earn the living for all the family! We don´t want to be an organization with heavy costs running the hierarchy, we are simply a family sending about 200 -300 euros per month to Isiolo to Maisha Mema account. We are informed once a year via areport of the activities and plans in Isiolo and how the money is used. Our dream is that we could send 500 euros per month! We want to be a family of 20 members, not bigger than that! Now we are 14.
